A SERVICE OF REMEMBRANCE AND HOPE Sunday Evening Our guest speaker is Gabriella Major. She was born in Hungary in 1942. When she was two years old, she and her family were rounded up and interned in the Debrecen Ghetto. She, her mother, and her grandfather were deported by cattle car to the Strasshof concentration camp near Vienna.
The evening continues with Temple Sholom’s special Yom HaShoah service, including a candle lighting of six candles, representing the six million Jews who perished during the War. Participation is hybrid with individuals having the option of attending in person or via Zoom. https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88380070172 |
